Have you ever felt Mat based yoga/pilates is a barrier to your abilities?

Whether you are able bodied and want an alternate tool to explore your practice, or living with mobility experiences that don’t integrate with a conventional yoga practice- chair based yoga is here to solve that!

Chair Yoga/Pilates incorporates the elements of mat yoga/pilates with the accessibility for all bodies and humans who seek autonomy and equality in their self-care and in a tangible way.

Whether it’s a chair, wheelchair, couch, bed, a wall space, you can adapt all traditional mat practices to them.

In this workshop, I’ll breakdown the seated/standing/floor+chair fusion fundamentals of how to translate Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga styles and Pilates, all within a chair format.

I will integrate multiple accessible pranayama and meditation practices including self-massage with dowels/ball work to support any students injuries/limitations and abilities.

Come with an open mind, let go of the possible limitations set about what is or isn’t achievable from the construct of a mat style yoga practice, and embrace the liberty of accessible, adaptive, and inclusive yoga!
